The Friends of Elysian Annual Appeal Campaign is Underway
By now you should have received our appeal letter. We hope that all families contribute. It only takes $1 to be part of this important fundraising drive.
We need your help to extend our mailing list. If you know of a grandparent, relative, business associate or friend who would be willing to donate to our school, please send us their contact information.
Make your annual tax-deductible donation by check or credit card or donate on line at www.friendsofelysian.org. You may also send contact information there.
Thank you for your continued support!

What to do on SNOWY days or SERIOUSLY INCLEMENT weather
Elysian follows the pattern of the Hoboken public schools. Listen to the radio and television stations; if Hoboken schools are closed, Elysian is closed.
On the mornings of school closings, after 6:30 AM, Carol will send an email home to all parents. After 6:30 AM, you may call Carol at (917) 344-0798.

PTSO Kuumba Day Shout Out:
Thanks to co-chairs Pam Strell & Pat Kelly, Alyse Battaglia (raffle organizer), Amanda & Ashley (third grade teachers who worked with the dancers), Lynne Shapiro (liaison to African Dance teachers), Aram Rubenstein-Gillis (for filming the dancers), and our tireless volunteers for making Kuumba Day such a terrific event for the ECS community. Our 3rd grade dancers were wonderful; folks enjoyed the food and smoothies, and did lots of holiday shopping! Thanks also to Susan Chait for designing the stunning Kuumba tee-shirts and for signage for the raffle prizes
